Paul Rudd's teeny-tiny superhero showed off its might at the box office this weekend, as Ant-Man remained America's top movie for the second week in a row and thwarted serious competition, Box Office Mojo reports.
Ant-Man pulled in $24.8 million in its second week, according to weekend estimates, bringing its two-week total to $106 million. The weekend take was good enough to hold off newcomer Pixels, which drew $24 million in its debut week. The Adam Sandler comedy about classic video games attacking the world was panned by critics, but Pac-Man nostalgia and special effects still managed to bump it into second.

Minions fell from second to third with $22.1 million in ticket sales in its third week, adding to the kids' movie's $261.6 total take. Amy Schumer's rom-com Trainwreck pulled in $17.3 million for fourth.
A couple of newcomers grabbed fifth and sixth place, with Jake Gyllenhall's boxing drama Southpawpunching up $16.5 million, and the young adult movie Paper Towns, based on the book of the same name by The Fault in Our Stars author John Green, pulling in $12.5 million.
Don't worry for these next two movies, which each slid down two spots from last week. Pixar's Inside Outnetted $7.4 million more dollars in its sixth week of release to shovel onto its $320.3 million pile. And people are still watching Jurassic World; the Chris Pratt dino-drama added $6.9 million to its massive $623.8 million take.
Rounding out the top 10, Mr. Holmes earned $2.8 million and Terminator: Genisys brought in $2.4 million.
