Bones' Booth and Brennan (David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel) will soon discuss spending eternity together — not necessarily as a husband and wife, but as corpses. When two bodies are found together in a single grave — in a January episode involving organic funerals — the crime-solving lovebirds debate their conflicting burial plans.

"Their relationship makes them rethink how they would deal with their deaths," executive producer Hart Hanson says. In fact, the entire Jeffersonian team ends up sorting out their wills and burial plans. "The episode ends with an extremely moving scene involving Booth," says exec producer Stephen Nathan.

The prospect of dying hits close to home for Brennan during February sweeps, when she's shot in the lab one night. "It's very fortunate that Booth finds her," says Hanson. Plus, Ryan O'Neal will be back as Brennan's dad, and producers have begun crafting the role of Booth's mom, whom they hope to introduce before season's end. "She's very strong-willed," Hanson says. "A lot of Booth's qualities, not all good ones, came from her."

As for the other members of the team, Camille and Arastoo's secret relationship will be exposed in an interesting way; Angela will ponder a career change; yet another new intern (this one brainy and irreverent) will be added; and serial killer Pelant's latest macabre stunt will profoundly change Hodgins and Angela's life.
