A familiar face is returning to How I Met Your Mother.
Bob Odenkirk, who's currently a regular on Breaking Bad, playing corrupt lawyer Saul Goodman, is reprising his role as corporate lawyer Arthur Hobbs, Marshall's (Jason Segel) former boss at Goliath National Bank, TVLine reports. Hobbs will appear in the second episode of the CBS sitcom's upcoming eighth season, when he pseudo-represents Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) in his prenuptial negotiations with Quinn (Becki Newton), whom Barney proposed to in the Season 7 finale.
How I Met Your Mother boss on a Season 9, premiere's big moment and Ted's "terrible mistake"
His efforts may be for naught, however, given that last season's finale revealed in a flash-forward that Barney ends up tying the knot with Robin (Cobie Smulders). What goes wrong with his and Quinn's engagement?
