Chris Daughtry is telling his fans to look for him during the red-carpet-arrivals portion of the Grammys on Sunday because he's pretty sure he's not going to make the cut for the telecast. "We don't even know if they are going to air our nominations yet," Daughtry told
the Associated Press. He has reason to be concerned: There are 110 Grammy categories, but fewer than 10 percent of them are actually handed out during the telecast. Also, since this year is a special 50th-anniversary celebration of the Grammys, there will be even fewer awards than usual. The

American Idol vet and his bandmates nabbed an impressive five nominations: Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals; Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals; Best Rock Song; Best Rock Album; and Producer of the Year (Non-Classical). Well, if he can't be on the tee-vee on Sunday night, here's hoping that the chrome-domed rocker will at least get to meet Justin Timberlake. In addition to Daughtry, the Grammys will also be missing another titan of music: Michael Jackson. Despite the rumors, exec producer Ken Ehrlich told Extra that Jackson will not be performing, no matter how many renditions of "Thriller" fans at karaoke bars nationwide may be doing in protest. - Mickey O'Connor
