Bring on the slime!
Blake Shelton is ready to get slimed.
The Voicecoach revealed on Monday's Todayshow that he's hosting the 2016 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.
Shelton told Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb that his agent asked him if there was anything he'd like to do, and he cited the Kids' Choice Awards.
"I've been on countless stages throughout my life, but none have promised the madness, excitement and endless slime as Nick's Kids' Choice Awards, which is undoubtedly the ultimate party for kids," Shelton told Peoplein a statement. "There is only one team here, and it's Team Kids' Choice so bring it on Nickelodeon!"
Now the question is, will Gwen Stefani be there with him?
The Kids' Choice Awards will air live on Nickelodeon on March 12, 2016. Do you think Shelton will make a good host? Watch his Today show announcement here:
