Black Mirror Season 5 Episode Trailers and Storylines Finally Revealed

First up is "Smithereens," which stars Andrew Scott, Damson Idris, and a New Age-y Topher Grace. Here's the plot summary: "A cab driver with an agenda becomes the centre of attention on a day that rapidly spirals out of control." Not much there! But as the trailer explains, Scott plays the cab driver, who takes an employee at a company called Smithereen hostage and bemoans the fact that people are addicted to their smartphones. Next is "Rachel, Jack And Ashley, Too" (no Oxford comma for Black Mirror, y'all, the future IS dark!). That episode stars Miley Cyrus, Angourie Rice, and Madison Davenport. The logline: "Two estranged college friends reunite in later life, triggering a series of events that could alter their lives forever." That's vague on its own, but the trailer takes things to another level. "Nothing is going on," claims Mackie's character in the teaser. "I promise." Liar! Something is definitely going on!
