The Biggest Loser Couple Splits Two Months Before Their Baby’s Birth

The Biggest Loser couple Sam Poueu and Stephanie Anderson have split and filed for divorce — two months before Anderson is expected to give birth to their child — Us Weekly reports.

"It is with great sadness that my marriage to Sam Poueu is ending," Anderson told the magazine. "Thank you in advance for respecting our privacy during this difficult time."

The couple of three years married in April 2012, seven months after Poueu fell 54 feet from a friend's roof deck and sustained serious injuries.

"Just from the experience of her being my caretaker post-accident, it was a dead giveaway that she'd be a fantastic mother,"Poueu said at the time. "That was an early sign for me that our child is going to have the best mother ever."
