Keith Henderson came into the Big Brother house with a ton of energy and confidence in what he believed to be a foolproof strategy to win the $500,000 grand prize. Unfortunately, a twist in the game threw his strategy out the window and his overconfidence was enough reason for his fellow competitors to kick him out of the house first this season. TVGuide.com chatted with the 32-year-old human resources manager about why he called out his teammates as traitors and whether he thinks Deacons should be horndogs. Plus: He tells us who he thinks betrayed him on eviction night — and he's completely wrong!
TVGuide.com: Why did you choose to partner with Porsche?
Keith: Porsche is hot. She is also a physical competitor. [And] I thought she would be able to manipulate the guys. "Keith's Angels" was still in the back of my mind when I picked her.
TVGuide.com: Can you better explain how your "Keith's Angels" strategy was supposed to work? Do you think it would have worked if not for the "dynamic duos" twist?
Keith: Yes, it would have worked. The strategy was to align with three girls [and] use the girls to manipulate the guys — play with emotion, lie, get the blood on their hands — until we eliminated all of the guys and it was just us left.
TVGuide.com: After Evel Dick left the house, why did you feel the need to call out Porsche and Kalia in front of the newbies?
Keith: It was time for me to expose Porsche and Kalia because they were playing both sides and did not support my interests. When I was on the block... I wanted everyone to know so [they would vote Porsche out]. I needed to do everything I could to get everyone's votes.
TVGuide.com: What was the general response of your "Regulators" alliance (Dominic, Cassi, Lawon) following that meeting?
Keith: They didn't agree with it. They said I shouldn't have said anything and that I flew off the handle.
TVGuide.com: Do you think calling them out backfired on you?
Keith: Yeah. I was very confident. That's just me. I trust people, and I trusted that the newbies had my back. My confidence turned into cockiness.
TVGuide.com: So do you regret throwing the veto competition?
Keith: I do regret throwing it because my alliance didn't have my back!
TVGuide.com: Right, you told Julie after your eviction that you "got played." Who do you think voted against you?
Keith: [I think] Dominic and Cassi voted against me. [Ed. note: Shelly and Kalia were the deciding votes. Both Dominic and Cassi voted to evict Porsche.] I wasn't surprised. I figured it out a day in advance when I told them to tell the veterans how we were voting and they wouldn't do it.
TVGuide.com: Do you think the Regulators will last?
Keith: No, because they don't have each other's best interests and they are looking out for themselves. I had the best interests of the entire alliance, and they did not.
TVGuide.com: How did you develop your unique strategy for extracting milk during the Have/Have Not competition?
Keith: I was just trying to squeeze out the milk as fast I could by any means necessary. If it meant dry humping Adam and Dominic, I had to do it.
TVGuide.com: Some people might think it's odd or hypocritical for a Deacon to be so actively chasing after women...
Keith: It's not odd or hypocritical. I am a single guy, and I firmly believe that God wants us to find our wife. How can I find one if I am not actively looking?
TVGuide.com: Of the newbies, who is the strongest player in the game right now and why?
Keith: Adam, because he knows the game mentally and is not scared to push the envelope.
TVGuide.com: Who do you want to win Big Brother this season?
Keith: Porsche. I picked her as my partner, they evicted me and saved her, so she had better win this game.
Big Brother next airs on Sunday at 8/7c on CBS.
