VIDEO: Big Brother's Aaryn Confronted by Julie Chen for Racist Comments
Aaryn Gries and Julie Chen
On Thursday night, Aaryn Gries was finally evicted from the Big Brother house. During the live exit interview, host Julie Chen didn't waste time before asking Aaryn about her multiple racist remarks.
"Being Southern, it is a stereotype and I have said some things that have been taken completely out of context and wrong," Aaryn said. "I do not mean to ever come off racist. That is not me and I apologize to anyone I have offended for that."

Julie proceeded to read some of the things Aaryn came under fire for, including the gay slur she used in reference to Andy and her warning other houseguests that they might not be able to see African-American houseguest Candice in the dark. Finally, Julie mentioned Aaryn telling Asian-American contestant to "go make some rice."
"I do not remember saying those things," Aaryn said, while the audience booed and guffawed at her defense. "That was not meant to be serious. And if I said those things... I feel horrible about that and I regret that."
When Julie asked Aaryn to offer her final thoughts, Aaryn offered: "I honestly feel horrible. I feel like in Texas we say things that are sometimes... we joke and we don't mean it. I really feel bad that this is how it has been seen and how I've come across to people. I don't want to seem like that person and I really do respect everyone in this game, although we have had some really hard times because we're all fighting for our lives in the game."

Early in the season, Aaryn's comments resulted in her being fired from her modeling agency. But because Aaryn is going to the jury house, she won't learn that until after the game is over.
