Big Brother — which attracted its biggest viewership in seven years this summer — will be back for a 14th season, CBS announced Wednesday.
The show, hosted by Julie Chen, puts a group of people in a camera-rigged house where they are taped 24 hours a day as they compete for the $500,000 grand prize.
The current edition of Big Brother delivered the show's largest audience and highest ratings since 2004. The show has averaged 8.11 million viewers and a 3.1 rating among 18-to-49-year-olds.
The 90-minute finale airs Wednesday at 9:30/8:30c on CBS.
