Ring the alarm! Beyonce will headline the Super Bowl halftime show, The Associated Press reports.
The official announcement is expected to be released Wednesday, a source told the AP. Emails to Beyonce's rep, the NFL and CBS were not immediately returned.
This won't be the singer's first time performing at the event. Beyonce sung the National Anthem at the Houston-based Super Bowl in 2004.

While the pressure will be on, at least the singer won't have to worry about running out of material for her set. The 31-year-old has released four studio albums, won 16 Grammy Awards, 12 MTV Video Music Awards and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame with Destiny's Child.

Madonna's performance at the game last February included guests Cee Lo Green, Nicki Minaj, LMFAO and M.I.A. If Beyonce really is the latest halftime star, we hope she takes a cue from her predecessor and features a cameo-filled set with appearances from her husband Jay-Z, family friend Kanye West, "Telephone" partner Lady Gaga and her own alter-ego Sasha Fierce.
Super Bowl XLVII will take place in New Orleans on Feb. 3 and will air on CBS.
Is Beyonce a good pick?
