Host Larry David may feel the Bern
With Larry David hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend, viewers can expect plenty of Bernie Sanders material - but the episode may also include a cameo from the presidential candidate himself.
According to the Washington Post, Sanders plans to head to New York on Saturday and is expected to appear on that evening's broadcast opposite David, who has been impersonating him throughout the campaign (but who doesn't really care whether people watch this weekend's episode).
Sanders would be following in the footsteps of his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, who filmed a guest appearance on Saturday Night Live last October, alongside her impersonator Kate McKinnon. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump also hosted an episode of SNL last year.
