Affleck will receive the degree in fine arts at the ceremony on Sunday, May 26. He's among six honorees who will receive honorary doctorates, including author Junot Diaz.
It will be the first college degree for the Argo director, who attended Occidental College in Los Angeles as well as the University of Vermont, but dropped out after his first semester.
