Glenn Beck suffered from appendicitis during his radio show Wednesday and had to undergo surgery, a Fox News Channel spokeswoman said.

"He's expected to make a full and complete recovery," said Andrew P. Napolitano, who filled in for Beck on his TV show.
The 45-year Beck, who underwent what he called "butt surgery" nearly two years ago and publicly complained that it went "awry," will be sidelined for the rest of the week.
