The Sunday half of 24's two-part season premiere clocked in as the Fox series' most-watched episode ever, averaging 16.25 million viewers  a good million of whom were ticked off that their TiVo lopped off the last 10 minutes. (Thanks so much, Mr. Late Football Game.) As a result, the Desperate Housewives drew their tiniest audience of the season, albeit a still-impressive 22.5 million a good million of which have lost their patience with the Applewhites' utterly segregated story line. (Did Bree really refer to them as "you people"? Yikes.)
