Bachelor Winter Games' Dean and Lesley Are Splitsville

They're the second Winter Games couple to break up in less than 24 hours

It's been a rough day in Bachelor Nation.

Coming hot on the heels of the news that Bachelor Winter Games couple Clare Crawley and Benoit Beausejour-Savard have called off their engagement, E! News reports that another Bachelor Winter Games couple, Lesley Murphy and Dean Unglert, has also split.

"It is very recent, but they have been rocky for a few weeks now," a source told E! News. "Distance and traveling were a factor. They are both going to continue to be friendly and are on good terms, but their romantic relationship has ended."

They met during filming of the Bachelor spin-off last year, and their relationship was a very cute storyline. It helped Dean redeem his image after he made himself look bad on Bachelor in Paradisewhile dating two women at the same time. During the finale of Winter Games, Dean did a fake-out where it seemed like he was about to propose to Lesley, but he actually just gave her a key to his apartment. Clare and Benoit were the ones who got engaged.

On Sunday, Lesley posted about the split on Instagram with a caption that alluded to Dean's inability to commit being the reason for the breakup.

"I know it's imperative to find someone who chooses us and acknowledges our many layers, who can be open and vulnerable, and most importantly, who is ready," she wrote. "To meet someone and be met. To be chosen and to choose. To love and to be loved. This is everything. All we need is that same energy reciprocated, and despite how open and loving you attempt to be, people can only meet you as deeply as they've met themselves. Don't be afraid to be the one that loved the most and give everything you had, because you've got to find people who love like you do and who are ready. Out with the old, in with the true."

Former Bachelor contestant Seinne Fleming alleges that Dean also slid into Bekah Martinez's DMs.

With Ashley Iaconetti and Kevin Wendt's breakup last month, the only remaining Winter Games couple is Lily McManus and Courtney Dober, the Kiwi and Australian who went on an adorable road trip.

The good news out of all this? This probably means that Dean will be on Bachelor in Paradise this summer.
