Spike TV has found its King Tut. Avan Jogia has langed the title role in the upcoming event series Tut, the network announced Tuesday. He'll star opposite Sir Ben Kingsley, who is playing Ay, the top adviser to Egypt's young king.

Jogia appears on ABC Family's Twisted, and will also be seen in the upcoming film Ten Thousand Saints along with Ethan Hawke, Emily Mortimer, Hailee Steinfeld and Emile Hirsch.
Tut is Spike's first scripted program in eight years and is set to premiere in 2015. It will be shot on location this fall in Morocco and Canada.
