Moviegoers had Hannibal on the brain over the long Presidents' Day weekend. The sequel to The Silence of the Lambs retained its No. 1 position for a second consecutive weekend, grossing another $35.5 million from Friday to Monday. Its 11-day total stands at $109.4 million. Meanwhile, Chris Rock's star vehicle, Down to Earth, had to settle for not-so-sloppy seconds. The comedy's heavenly $20.1 million gross was the second best ever for the Presidents' Day weekend. Rounding out the top five was Disney's Recess: School's Out (No. 3 with $13.1 million), the Keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron weepfest Sweet November (No. 4 with $11.7 million) and Oscar hopeful Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (No. 5 with $11 million).
