Being poisoned will be the least of Oliver Queen's worries when he discovers that Team Arrow let Barry Allen in on his big secret in order to save him. But for Barry (Grant Gustin), it's a dream come true as his suspicions about the vigilante known as the Arrow will be confirmed during Wednesday's Arrow (8/7c, The CW).

Mega Buzz: Will anyone else learn Oliver's secret on Arrow?

"Part of the fun of the episode is that Barry is the ultimate fanboy," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg says. "In a way, Barry is us; he represents the audience. Some of the fun of this is what if you were in the Batcave and how cool would that be? Part of the episode is Barry getting to revel in that and part of it is him getting to see that sometimes it's better not meeting your heroes because they're complicated and cranky and maybe jealous of the way you're looking at their assistant."

But Oliver (Stephen Amell) can't completely hold Barry's presence in the Foundry against him since Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Diggle (David Ramsey) saw no other choice next to outing the Arrow's identity to save Oliver's life. But curing Oliver will come with some side effects that will haunt our favorite hero as he tries to thwart Cyrus Gold's attempts to help create super soldiers using the Mirakuru serum.

Arrow Brings the Flash to life!

With Barry there to lend a helping hand, Team Arrow just may be able to save the day. "At the end of the day Oliver just wants the job done, and Barry helps get the job done and that's a saving grace for him," Kreisberg adds.

Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
