It looks like Netflix knows it didn't make a huge mistake in bringing Arrested Development back. The streaming site is currently in talks to bring the cult comedy back for a fifth season, executive producer Brian Grazer told Bloomberg Television.

It looks like Netflix knows it didn't make a huge mistake in bringing Arrested Developmentback. The streaming site is currently in talks to bring the cult comedy back for a fifth season, executive producer Brian Grazer told Bloomberg Television.

"We are in conversations with them to do another," Grazer said. "They are interested in doing that."

Cult shows that deserve a movie

Creator Mitch Hurwitz has already revealed he's "game" for another season. "I don't have a timeline yet," he recently said on a conference call, E! News reports. "If there's more, I promise you we will put a date out there."

Though Arrested Development's fourth season was met with mixed reviews, there's no doubt fans would once again flock to Netflix to give the series another shot. Hurwitz is just making sure not to let the criticism get to him. "I try to have a pretty open attitude about it. Everybody wants to be loved all the time; it's not realistic," he said. "It's certainly not realistic if you're going to be ambitious in terms of changing the form. There are risks either way. Had I done the exact same show I did last time, there'd be blowback to that."
