Is California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger pro-pot?
On Monday's Tonight Show, Jay Leno asked about the bill that the 63-year-old Terminator star signed to somewhat decriminalize smoking marijuana. The outgoing governor said the new law might have been a reason that Proposition 19 — which would've legalized the drug — didn't pass on Election Day.
"No one cares if you smoke a joint or not," he said, adding, "But Proposition 19 went a little too far."
The governor went on to say that the referendum was written poorly and may not have been rejected because the idea was bad, but because it was "written wrong."
