Ant-Man and Wasp Are Getting a Sequel Together

On Thursday, Marvel announced that Ant-Man and the Wasp will star in a sequel film together.

Ant-Man and the Wasp will feature the return of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly). The film, which marks the first time Marvel has named a movie after a female character, is slated for a July 6, 2018, release.

The announcement of an Ant-Man sequel means that Black Panther's release has been moved up to Feb. 16, 2018, while Captain Marvel will now hit theaters on March 8, 2019.

Additionally, as part of an update on Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the company revealed that three untitled Marvel films will premiere on May 1, 2020, July 10, 2010, and Nov. 6, 2020.
