Singer Andrea Bocelli married his longtime love Veronica Berti at the Sanctuary of Montenero in Livorno, Italy on Friday, People reports.

The couple, who have been together for 12 years, chose to tie the knot on March 21 because it marked the date of their daughter Virginia's second birthday. Bocelli's two sons from his first marriage, 19-year-old Amos and 16-year-old Matteo, were also in attendance for the intimate ceremony.

Berti, 30, wore an Emanno Scervino double silk dress and Bocelli, 55, donned a blue Corneliani suit. This is the first marriage for her and the second marriage for him.
