And the Next Bachelorette Is …

Her nightmare is over: Andi Dorfman has been chosen as the next star of The Bachelorette.

"This is the first time it's starting to feel real," Andi said after the reveal on Monday's After the Final Rose special. "I feel all in, I'm mentally all in, emotionally all in. I'm in a place in my life where I'm so ready for this... At the end of the day I cannot wait to hopefully say, 'You are the one. '"

Andi, 26, is an assistant district attorney from Atlanta. She famously exited The Bachelor during fantasy suite week, telling Juan Pablo, "You don't even really know who I am. Every time I've tried to explain things all your response is, 'It's OK.' ... It shouldn't just be OK."

The Bachelor finale: And the final rose goes to ...

"[Andi] would be a fantastic Bachelorette," host Chris Harrison told us after she left the show. "She embodies everything you look for in a Bachelorette: She's beautiful, but incredibly smart, strong, articulate. This is no pushover — she's a catch! I can only imagine her demanding as much from the guys."

The Bachelorette is slated to premiere in the spring.
