Amy Schumer'sStar Wars-themed GQ photo shoot made quite a splash on the Internet last week, but not everyone is laughing.

Both Disney and Lucasfilm are, to put it mildly, unimpressed with the photos, which depict Schumer dressed as Princess Leia, in various sexual poses with C-3PO and R2-D2. Over the weekend, the official Star Wars Twitter account responded to fans who were offended by the pictures.

"Lucasfilm & Disney did not authorize, participate in or condone the inappropriate use of our characters in this manner," read a tweet from the Star Wars account.

Some Star Wars alums were able to see the humor, though. Mark Hamill, for one, said he was hoping the photos meant Schumer was joining the franchise.
