American Idolalum Scott MacIntyre married his girlfriend on Thursday, People reports.

 Idol alum Scott MacIntyre is engaged

MacIntyre, 26, wed Christina Teich in a small ceremony in Scottsdale, Ariz. During the service, the Idol finalist — who was also the first blind contestant to compete on the show — performed a song in dedication to his new bride called "Wanna Be There," which he also wrote.

MacIntyre's most recent album, Heartstrings, was released in March 2010 and debuted at No. 18 on iTunes.

"It's about love, it's about loss, it's about the hardships of another person when you can't do anything," he told TVGuide.com when it was released. "It's about trying to find hope when there's hopelessness around. They're all things I've been through in my life. I've put a lot of my heart into every song and it's always been about sharing a message."

Looks like he found his love.
