"Tonight's outcome may surprise a few people," Ryan Seacrest promised at the beginning of Thursday's American Idol elimination episode.
Who made it to the Top 10 after singing "Music From the Movies"? Skip to the bottom for results. But first a few thoughts on the episode's highlights:

Idol recap: The Top 11 sing music from the movies
Harry takes the stage Finally Harsh Harry is on the other side of the judges' table. He performs two original songs: "One Fine Thing" and "Come By Me." We already knew this, but the dude can really perform. His piano playing and overall showmanship are such a treat. That's how it's done, Idol wannabes! (Oh, and he claims he's never had an issue with performance anxiety!)
Cradle Kid 2.0 Harry's biggest fan Munfarid is back. Even though he didn't make it to the finals, he returns briefly to serenade Harry again, as Harry cradles him in his arms. Is this going to become a thing?
Tastemaker This week's spotlight goes to Mali Music, who works the crowd much more than the previous weeks' bands. His single "Beautiful" is sort of hip-hop gospel and also ends with a stint on piano. The whole performance was really positive and refreshing.
J.Lo sneak peek  We get a quick glimpse of Jennifer's new video for her song "I Love You, Papi" and let's just say she is toned all over. Can't wait for the actual performance next week!
American Idol: Is this the most boring group of contestants ever?

SAFECalebCJDexterMalayaMKJessicaAlexJenaBOTTOM 3BenMajestySamWhoa, we thought Majesty was really bad last night, but didn't imagine she'd fall so low since she's been so popular. Ben made a misstep with his song choice, but it wasn't really as bad as say, Jessica's performance. Sam has also been a favorite and actually broke out of his shell last night, even though it was still somewhat awkward and stiff. Sam and Majesty are safe, which means Ben sings for the save, and it's not that great at the beginning, which we chalk up to nerves. He brings it home at the end though. Is it enough? Sadly no. Bye-bye, Ben.Were you surprised at the Bottom 3 and elimination? How did you like Harry's performance? American Idol airs Wednesdays at 8/7c and Thursdays at 9/8c on Fox.
