Red Alert: Evan Peters Is on Tonight's American Horror Story

Pretty much ever since American Horror Story: Roanoke debuted, fans have had one pressing question: what's up with all of the pigs? Their second, slightly more pressing question has been, where's star Even Peters? The fan favorite has yet to appear on the show (as far as we know), but that will all change with tonight's episode.

Yep, Evan Peters -- and his brand new crimson red hairdo -- will appear on the Wednesday, October 12 episode of American Horror Story: Roanoke, as just revealed on Twitter by producer Ryan Murphy:

Murphy is referring to the fan favorite theory that Peters is playing a producer on the show within a show framing this season, titled My Roanoke Nightmare. But does this mean that Peters is an actor on the show, portraying someone in the story being told by Matt (Andre Holland) and Shelby (Lily Rabe)? Or something else entirely?

Our own Sadie Gennis has a guess as to what he's playing, whether he's in the show within a show, or just in the show: Lady Gaga's son. Or at least the character Lady Gaga is playing (a moon goddess/enchantress type witch whatever), not the actual son of the singer herself. But maybe he is! Who knows. This show is crazy.

Whatever Peters is doing, we'll know more tonight.
