American Horror Story: Hotel American Horror Story: Hotel

We're less than a week away from the premiere of American Horror Story: Hotel, but you don't need to wait until Oct. 7 for the show to haunt your dreams.

On Thursday, American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy posted a video of the opening credits on YouTube, and it may be the franchise's creepiest opening yet. Images of unidentifiable people are interspersed with text of the Ten Commandments, and blink-and-you'll-miss-them scenes of the comings and goings at the Hotel Cortez. There's also blood - lots of blood - and a Nightmare on Elm Street-esque bed that devours humans.

And of course, it's all set to a disturbing, effects-laden soundtrack.
