AMC has greenlit a new reality series set inside the raw and highly competitive world of American arm wrestling, the cable network announced Wednesday.

King of Arms, from the Emmy-winning producers behind Deadliest Catch, will follow members of five arm wrestling clubs, as well as their friends and family, as they risk everything they have to win. The 10-episode first season will premiere early next year, timed with the premiere of the second half of The Walking Dead's fourth season. The zombie drama recently drew a record 16.1 million viewers for its Season 4 premiere.

Additionally, AMC has renewed reality series Small Town Security for a third season, which will air next year along with the previously announced second season of Freakshow.

"King of Arms, Small Town Security and Freakshow all take viewers inside worlds most have never seen, populated by unique and unforgettable characters," AMC's executive vice president of original programming, production and digital content, Joel Stillerman, said in a statement. "We are looking forward to bringing these new and returning series to AMC viewers and are very excited to be working with Undertow Films on our new unscripted original, King of Arms."
