Amanda Bynes Pleads Not Guilty to Hit-and-Run Charges

Amanda Bynes

Amanda Bynes has pleaded not guilty to two counts of hit-and-run, TMZ reports.

The actress was not initially charged for the first hit-and-run from April, but after Bynes was involved in a second incident in August, prosecutors reopened the first case. Bynes was officially charged with both counts in early September.

Amanda Bynes' license suspended due to unpaid tickets

If the actress is convicted of both hit-and-runs, she faces a maximum sentence of a year in jail. This is in addition to any jail time she might receive for the DUI and two counts of driving on a suspended license with which she has also been charged.

Bynes is due back in court for the hit-and-run charges on Oct. 19.
