It was a bit of good news/bad news earlier this week for troubled star Amanda Bynes.

On Tuesday, a Ventura County, Calif., judge dismissed her DUI case stemming from September and extended her conservatorship until a June 23 hearing, People reports.

The 28-year-old's parents currently have control over her finances and medical needs. She would have faced probation violation charges for the DUI.

Amanda Bynes' increasingly erratic behavior: A timeline

"Amanda is doing well," Bynes' lawyer, David Esquibias, tells People. Another source tells the magazine that she and her parents are getting along and that she has her own apartment.

The news follows the actress' release from a psychiatric facility in October. She is currently on probation for a 2012 DUI arrest.
