ABC Orders Alien Thriller, Supernatural Drama Pilots

ABC has given pilot orders to alien thriller The Visitors, supernatural project Forever and journalist drama Exposed, TVGuide.com has learned.

The Visitors is a race against the clock to defeat an unseen alien enemy who is out to destroy the world using our most precious resource against us. Juno's Soo Hugh will write the project from Steven Spielberg's Amblin TV and Grady Twins.

Forever tells the story of Dr. Henry Morgan, a New York City medical examiner who studies the dead for a reason: He is immortal. With the help of Detective Jo Martinez, the drama peels back the layers of Henry's colorful and long life through their cases. Matt Miller (Chuck) will write and executive-produce with Dan Lin (Terminator Salvation) and Jennifer Gwartz (Veronica Mars).

Based on a Scandinavian format, Exposed follows an investigative journalist who will stop at nothing to uncover the truth, including making questionable alliances. Charles Randolph (Love & Other Drugs) will write and serve as an executive producer with Peter Traugott (Samantha Who?) and Rachel Kaplan (Do No Harm).
