Pilot Season: Susan Lucci to Co-Star in Marc Cherry's Devious Maids

Susan Lucci is returning to the soap world, but this time in prime time.
The All My Children actress will co-star in ABC's Devious Maids pilot from Desperate Housewives' Marc Cherry, TVGuide.com has confirmed. Deadline first reported the news.
The adaptation of a Mexican soap follows four maids — played by Ana Ortiz, Judy Reyes, Roselyn Sanchez and Dania Ramirez — with ambitions and dreams of their own who work for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills. Lucci will play Genevieve Delacourt, the beautiful, yet gently crazy, employer of one of the maids. As previously announced, Rebecca Wisocky, Brianna Brown, Edy Ganem and Angelique Cabral will also star.
Lucci is best-known for playing Erica Kane on ABC's long-running soap. Her recent credits include Hot in Cleveland and Army Wives.
Cherry and Sabrina Wind executive-produce the pilot.
