ABC has ordered a full season of Forever and canceled Selfie, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
Though the drama has dropped from its debut audience of 8.3 million viewers to 5 million in recent episodes, ABC seems optimistic about the procedural, which is about an immortal medical examiner (Ioan Gruffudd) who helps a NYPD detective (Alana De La Garza) solve crimes.
Freshman comedy Selfie, which stars Karen Gillan and John Cho, will not be picked up beyond its initial 13-episode order. It's unknown whether ABC will air the remaining episodes or pull Selfie off the air.
ABC had previously canceled Manhattan Love Story, and picked up How to Get Away with Murder and Black-ish for full seasons.
