Khan's Fresh Off the Boat is a '90s-set single-camera comedy about Eddie, a hip-hop loving kid growing up in suburban Orlando, being raised by an immigrant father obsessed with all things American and an immigrant mother often bewildered by white culture. With Eddie's father owning and operating an All-American Steakhouse chain, this loving family of FOB ("fresh off the boat") Taiwanese Americans try to live the American dream while still maintaining their cultural identity and sense of family. New Girl's Jake Kasdan and Melvin Mar will also executive-produce the project based on Eddie Huang's memoir of the same name.
Multi-camera comedy Saint Francis follows a blue-collar, no-nonsense Long Island cop and family man who must face off with the modern, liberal world when his 29-year-old sister gets pregnant out of wedlock. Moynihan will write and executive-produce with Ron West (Backdraft) and Kelly Kulchak (Psych).
