Things are going to get very morbid on Netflix this January.

The streaming service released the first footage of its series reboot of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events on Thursday, giving strong-stomached viewers their first glimpse of Neil Patrick Harris' hideous visage as the villainous Count Olaf.

The clip is well-structured, with all the characters discussing how bad the orphaned Baudelaire siblings' new guardian Count Olaf is, before he finally reveals himself at the end and tells them, "You haven't the faintest idea."
