UPN is teaming with
Alicia Keys to develop a drama loosely based on the Grammy-winning R&B chanteuse's childhood. Born to a white mother and black father (who split when she was a toddler), Keys was raised in NYC's Hell's Kitchen and started learning classical piano at age 6. The tentative title: "Everybody Hates Practicing Their Scales."
