Tracey Takes Off: Showtime Steals Ullman from HBO

After 14 years and a Humvee full of Emmys, Tracey Ullman has dumped HBO to go work for Showtime, where she is developing State of the Union, a skitcom about life in the U.S. of A. See, HBO? Lisa Kudrow would never have been so fickle.

Meanwhile, having lost its head over the new Henry VIII drama The Tudors, Showtime has already given the green light to begin production on Season 2, Variety reports. The cabler has also ordered another round of This American Life episodes.
