Swingtown Swinging to Bravo

Grant Show and Jack Davenport by Michael Yarish/CBS
Swingtown has a new town network to call home - sort of.

Bravo has secured cable syndication rights to the critically acclaimed 13-episode drama.

The CBS series, which chronicles partner-swapping couples in the sexually liberated 1970s, aired to modest ratings over the summer. The Eye has remained mum over the show's future, but the future's not looking bright as the deal is a "straight acquisition," a source tells THR, meaning Bravo, or any network, will not produce new eps.

Bravo will begin airing Swingtown in the fall, along with Law & Order: Criminal Intent and The West Wing. - Joyce Eng
