Swayze Has "Excellent Response" to Cancer Treatment

Some positive news coming from Patrick Swayze's camp, a little over a month after the actor announced he was battling pancreatic cancer. "Patrick Swayze continues to respond well to his treatment," his physician, Dr. George Fisher, tells People. "Because of his excellent response, he will continue the same therapy at Stanford."

But Swayze and his missus, Lisa Niemi, think that there's more at work than chemotherapy. "We're thrilled and grateful for the positive response Patrick has shown towards his treatment," the couple tell the mag. "[We] can't help but feel that all the prayers, meditations and good thoughts sent his way by everyone has made a difference. Thank you!" - MWM
