Smallville Professor Fiiiine takes...

Reunion
Smallville
Professor
Fiiiine takes a giant leap in airtime and what does he get for the effort? He gets spiked! Ironic — yes? But you can't keep a big baddie down for long. I’m thinkin' Milton will be back.
In Smallville, Kansas… some cosmic thing zaps MamaKent with a mysterious incurable disease. You know what that means, right? There's a cure. We just have to wait until the end of the episode. But ImpatientClark is really worried because of Jorel's prophecy: Someone close to him will die. Mr. Gullible then falls for Fiiiine's line of Jorel BS. Basically, Krypton Daddy is a bad, bad dude. He's all evil and tortures people — including the peaceful Zod. Uh-oh. Something's not right here. No Zod I know is peaceful (and I know at least three Zods).
In the cave… Spike and CK get transported to the Fortress of Solitude where Clark gets ambushed and learns that Jorel isn't dictator-like bad, he was just made to look that way. It was all a ploy to try to free Zod. Hey, now I'm thinkin' someone needs to create "Free Zod" T-shirts. Who's with me? Anyone? Bueller?
Back in Smallville, Kansas… Martha's fine. Chloe saves the day and awakens Lois' inner journalist. We're hit over the head with not-so-subtle hints about who will be the one to die. It's Chloe! No, it's Jonathan! We were also treated to a cover of Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game" and a Superman Returns trailer. I'm sorry, but I dig the Superman comics; Justice League of America Saturday-morning cartoons; the movies (well, 1 and 2); as well as Lois and Clark and Smallville — Superman Returns I'm just not sure about. But I'm still trying to get over my Batman Begins obsession, so I guess anything can happen.
