Seth Rogen has signed on to star in Warner Bros.'
Observe and Report, says
Variety. To be written and directed by Jody Hill, the film finds Rogen as a self-important mall cop who gets into a turf battle with he local lawmen. Filming begins in April.
Continuing to prove that Hollywood only has one bright idea at a time, Columbia Pictures is nearing production on its
own similarly themed comedy, aptly titled
Mall Cop. That pic will star
Kevin James in what's expected to be a more family-friendly role than Rogen's.
