Friends alumna Jennifer Aniston - whose love life has fed the tabs with headlines aplenty - now is making legit news, having booked a guest-starring gig on NBC's 30 Rock, sources tell TVGuide.com. (The Peacock, for the record, tells me they are "unable to confirm" this A-list casting coup.)

Thus far, no details on who Aniston will be playing - a new paramour for Jack? A high-school chum of Liz's? Kenneth's surprisingly attractive cousin Enid Mae? - have yet to trickle out. Interestingly, her former Must-See TV scene partner, David Schwimmer, previously has guested on 30 Rock, playing NBC's overzealous ecology mascot.

Aniston's most recent prime-time TV appearance came in the form of a bold bid to give girlFriend Courteney Cox's struggling Dirt a shot in the arm by engaging in a much-hyped girl-girl lip lock. - Matt Mitovich
