Scoop! "Brilliant" Amy Madigan Guests on Saving Grace

Now that she has screwed Mer's head (mostly) on straight on Grey's Anatomy, Amy Madigan is teaming up with longtime gal pal Holly Hunter on the third Season 2 episode of TNT's Saving Grace. "She was kinda brilliant," Hunter says of Madigan's guest-star turn as the wife of a murdered cop. "She made me really step up to the plate."

Hunter and Madigan go back a ways, having previously costarred in the TV-movie Roe vs. Wade (1989). To reunite on Grace, Hunter says, "was such a privilege because she's been a friend of mine for years. And to play opposite her... she was so electrifying!" - Matt Mitovich, with reporting by Erin Fox
