Superman is returning to primetime television in a new one-hour adventure drama series to air on The WB. According to Variety, the network has ordered 13 episodes of the project, which features a teenage Clark Kent coming to grips with his emerging superpowers. The show — slated to debut next season — will be set in the present day and will include trademark characters Lois Lane and Lex Luther. The last time the Superman franchise ventured into primetime was with ABC's Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, which ran from 1993 to 1997.
