SUNDAY WON'T BE SURVIVOR DAY
Fans of Touched by an Angel
(hello? anyone? Bueller?) can breathe a sigh of relief. CBS has all but ruled out scheduling Survivor II
on Sundays at 8 pm, a move that would have bumped Angel
to another night. In a conference call with reporters yesterday, CBS Television President Leslie Moonves said he was leaning toward airing Survivor: The Australian Outback
which premieres Jan. 28, 2001, right after the Super Bowl on Wednesday (where the original ran) or Thursday, opposite NBC's powerhouse Must-See line-up. "I just like keeping our competitors on edge because clearly they're all talking about it," Moonves said.
