Runway's Finale Runs Away with the Ratings
Christian Siriano won on the season finale of Bravo's
Project Runway, but the finale also won for Bravo.
Wednesday's Season 4 closer averaged 5.2 million viewers, down just .2 mil from last year's finale, according to Nielsen. The show held up as more than a passing trend, breaking last year's network record for average viewers 18-49, totaling 3.8 mil, versus last year's 3.4.
Not only was the competition durable within its own net, but also against the others, coming in second for TV overall in its 10 pm time slot, just behind NBC's
Law & Order. And the show just keeps sewing up more success:
Runway grew by 10 percent among viewers 18-49 over last year, and by 4 percent among all viewers, year-over-year.
Heidi Klum and
Tim Gunn sure know their dramatic threads.
