Ricky Martin Becomes the Father of Twin Boys

Latin singing sensation Ricky Martin is the proud father of twin boys, born via surrogate a few weeks ago.

According to People, the boys' names and location of birth has not been released. However, Martin's rep said in a statement that the twins were "delivered via gestational surrogacy, are healthy and already under Ricky's full-time care."

Martin will be giving up his "la vida loca" for a while to focus on fathering the boys. "Ricky is elated to begin this new chapter in his life as a parent and will be spending the remainder of the year out of the public spotlight in order to spend time with his children," his rep said.
