Report: Photographer Hurt by Surfers While Filming McConaughey

Forget bodyguards.
Matthew McConaughey can apparently rely on a bunch of surfer dudes to do his dirty work.
The
New York Daily News
reports a photographer trying to take some video of McConaughey on a Malibu beach over the weekend was accosted by several surfers, who then tossed his video camera into the ocean. "There was apparently a fight, and the photographer gave a statement that he received injuries," an LAPD spokesman said.
TMZ.com posted video of the incident, in which the surfers are seen going after several other photographers as well.

News quotes one of the beachgoers as saying, "I just drink beer and party" when asked by a photographer what he does for a living. -
